ABOUT
Kwangeun Kim is a Korean Guitarist. He was born and grown in Jeju, the biggest island in Korea. Kwangeun started to play the guitar at the age of 15 in Classical guitar club in his high school and fell in love with the instrument, After few years Kwangeun became more interested in Jazz and he decided to become a musician. In 2007, Kwangeun moved to Seoul, the capital of South Korea, where he had a lot of musical experiences playing with other jazz musicians and also leading his own band in jazz clubs. In 2017, Kwangeun decided to study in Netherlands. Kwangeun graduated bachelor program of the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groingen, Netherlands. He studied with Winfred Buma, Frank Wingold and Kurt Weiss. Currently Kwangeun is playing at venues in Netherlands.
